Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup ham, diced
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- Alternatively, you can use a homemade version for a richer taste.
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking. - Mix Chicken and Ham
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and diced ham. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to season the mixture to your taste. - Prepare the Creamy Mixture
In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth and well combined. - Combine Ingredients
Add half of the soup mixture to the chicken and ham mix. Stir in half of the shredded Swiss cheese to distribute the flavors evenly. - Assemble the Casserole
Spread the chicken and ham mixture evenly in a baking dish. Pour the remaining soup mixture over the top to cover the chicken. - Add Toppings
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and the remaining Swiss cheese over the casserole to create a crispy, cheesy topping. - Bake
Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. - Garnish and Serve
Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving to add a pop of color and freshness.
