Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Blanch the Green Beans:
In a pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. - Wrap the Beans:
Take a few green beans and wrap them in a slice of turkey bacon. Secure the bundle with a toothpick to hold everything in place. - Prepare the Baking Sheet:
Place the bundles on a baking sheet. Drizzle them with olive oil, ensuring an even coat. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the top for added flavor. - Bake:
Bake the bundles in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy. - Finish with Balsamic Vinegar:
Once baked, remove the bundles from the oven. Drizzle them with balsamic vinegar for a tangy finish. Serve warm and enjoy!
