  8. Check for doneness: To check if the potatoes are done, insert a fork or knife into the center of a potato. It should go in easily with no resistance, indicating that the potato is cooked through and tender. The skins should be crispy and golden brown. If the fork meets resistance, continue air frying for another 5-10 minutes, checking again for doneness. Overcooking can dry out the potatoes, so itโ€™s important to check for doneness regularly towards the end of the cooking time.
